Farli and her sister, Xena, were the product of a female I borrowed that we thought would go nicely with Snickers, the line/dog I brought back from California in the fall of 1994. Both the girls finished quite easily although Farli had to travel out of state with Carlos Puig (pictured) to find the majors in order to finish.

Farli is still living the life of a queen, her demand actually. Although she was competing in agility at the age of 3 she decided that she needed a vacation (or 'leave of absence') up after earning 1 1/3 titles because she didn't think she needed to have a job. So she stayed home for 3.5 years while the other dogs went travelling. Mind you, she still trained in agility with the other dogs. She just didn't deem it necessary to perform in a show ring :) After staying home for those years, she then made it clear to me that she wanted to be back in the spotlight and in 2 weekends finished 1 2/3 titles. I haven't pushed her any further than that.

She has 12 field points at which point she again stated that she didn't NEED to be in the field, thank you very much. The work ethic on the girl is not very strong but...she makes us smile.

She is a great second mother to all the puppies born here, nurturing them as much as she can and when she can. She is also a great babysitter for them. At 12 years of age she still works out at the agility field and helps keep the backyard clear of squirrel invasions.
